Eric McClure was released today from UAB Medical Center after a hard crash in Saturday’s Aaron’s 312. McClure had to be cut out from the roof of the car, placed on a stretcher and flown via helicopter to UAB Medical Center. McClure was ver fortunate to only suffer a mild concussion and mild internal bruising. The whole Nascar community was worried for McClure after he had been flown away. McClure likely won’t be in the No.14 car this weekend at Darlington but should be back behind the wheel before the season ends. McClure is expected to make a full recovery.
