They do everything bigger in Texas and NASCAR abides by that saying. Every time the Sprint Cup Series enters the Lone Star State, the Texas Motor Speedway puts on the biggest and greatest show that they are able to. Texas usually draws the biggest crowds and the fans never leave disappointed. When NASCAR moved the Texas April Race to a night race a few years back, the racing action increased tremendously. Without a doubt, tonight’s NRA 500 will be quite the show and anything can and will happen.

Tonight’s race on the mile and a half Texas track may feature more action than it has in the past. With the Gen 6 car, we saw an exciting battle for the win at the only mile and a half track we’ve gone to this season at Las Vegas and another thrilling finish could be in-store for tonight’s race. Jimmie Johnson could really prove he’s the best this season by winning his third race of the season, but the other 42 drivers in the field do not want that to happen. A Saturday Night at Texas could only mean good things. Great racing and one heck of a party are the two things that will likely go down tonight at the Texas Motor Speedway.
