The No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford team has everything going for them at the moment. In the past six events, Blaney has scored five top-five finishes – including two second-places in Dover and Iowa. He placed third in Kentucky as well as last week in the Mudsummer Classic at Eldora Speedway.
His stellar run on dirt gained him the lead in the driver’s points standings for the first time this season. As the Truck Series heads to Pocono Raceway, the chance to extend the lead presents itself.
