From the early morning scene at Daytona International Speedway when Austin Dillon’s car flew into the catch fence to Kyle Busch’s championship celebration at Homestead-Miami Speedway after completing a miraculous comeback, it was a year of powerful images.

The Road to Miami: It All Comes Down to Phoenix

This led to a thrilling race that tested the tenacity of the remaining eight contenders. The excitement was produced without any controversial moments, unlike the previous three races. Kenseth’s Suspension Highlights NASCAR’s Inconsistencies

As a result, the on-track product is changing drastically. On the positive side, the racing in the final ten races is more fierce and competitive than ever before. This benefits the fans who are treated to a thrilling pursuit of the championship where success requires perfection.

The ability of some to rise to the occasion has resulted in controversy. With gameplay factoring into how the drivers compete throughout the playoffs, it has led to moves being made that push the limits of what is considered acceptable. The Beauty of the Chase

As the 2015 championship battle heats up, more of what fans have grown to love in playoff racing is ahead in the season’s final five races. The extent of the upcoming excitement is unknown. However, following the late-race developments in Kansas – it’s shaping up to be one wild fight for glory.

With the standings extremely close as a result of the points reset following each round, things can change in a heartbeat. While this didn’t play out early in the race at Kansas Speedway, the finish produced an unpredictable moment that will undoubtedly impact the Chase moving forward. Chasing the Cup: Championship 4 Power Rankings Ahead of New Hampshire

It will take ten momentous weeks to capture the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship. Consistency will be vital as one bad run can throw a competitor’s mindset off and lead to mistakes.

Last season, fans witnessed an intense and dramatic final ten races. The potential is high for more excitement this fall as teams know what it takes to claim the title under the new format. 

The finale in Miami will feature four drivers who were able to put together a solid and consistent stretch of races. It seemed as last year, the top contenders changed after each and every race. This created unpredictable eliminations and surprises in each round.

Throughout this year’s playoffs, I’ll rank the competitors who seem to have what it takes to make the Championship 4. This will lead all the way up to Phoenix where the final four will be decided. It will surely go through plenty of twists and turns on the road to Miami.
